Assignment Topic: Creating your Storyboard/Script Outline The next step toward ...

Assignment Topic: Creating your Storyboard/Script Outline The next step toward your final presentation is to sketch out the various details of both your visual and speech presentation. The purpose of this assignment is to help you prepare and practice your work, as well as give you a big-picture look at your presentation from beginning to end. The below table and linked file provide you with a template for what you might include in your storyboard/script; however, you can find other templates online if you prefer. You can also write a document with appropriate headers or sketch it on paper and upload the image. How you create and submit the content is up to you. Assignment Requirements: You should submit a minimum of 10 storyboard slides. Include the basics: an introductory slide with your presentation title and your name an overview slide that includes a) your thesis or key takeaway and b) the main subsections of your presentation, at least six more content slides that support the main idea a summary slide restating your main ideas a references slide In your presentation, each visual also needs to be cited on the slide and in the reference list. When you are done writing your ideas down, then review your storyboard in totality. Does it flow the way you intended? Have you proved your argument? You may also want to have a peer review it for you. A presentation is much like writing a paper; to do it well you will likely need multiple revisions. The good news is that if you follow this process, you should be better prepared to complete the work. Template Example: Slide # 1 Model Visual Aspects Speech Aspects Title: Benefits of an Information Technology Degree What will appear on your slide? What visual aid are you including? What will you say about this slide? Key Points: Why I chose this degree What skills are the most important to a career in this field What job do I hope to be able to do after graduation Benefits of an Information Technology Degree by John Doe Picture of a motherboard As an information technology major, I expect to be able to do ... Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are essential aspects of information technology degrees My name is ... and my presentation is on ... The agenda for this discussion includes ... Citation Citations should appear on slides if you have a References final slide Length 20 seconds Transition Is there a visual transition to your next slide? In talking, how will you connect what you just said to what you are about to say? Slide # 2 Visual Aspects Speech Aspects Title Key Points Citation Length Transition

DISCUSSION BOARD INSTRUCTIONS: This week, we have four (4) forum topics to discuss. Each time you sign on, here is what you are to do: Read all the posts. First and foremost, this is a discussion. It is a conversation among members of the class. In order for it to be such, you have to read what others post. If you wish to comment on the topic, click “Reply” at the bottom of a classmate's post and begin your post. You should not just repeat the same thing the earlier poster said. Instead, aim to continue the conversation, bringing in new material from the book, other sources, and your personal experience. You are required to post at least three (3) times during the week and each of these posts needs to be a significant contribution to the conversation. The posts should say something. They should expand the conversation and integrate course readings or other resources. They should pose thoughtful and interesting contributions to a continued discussion. In other words, agreeing with and repeating what the prior student posted does not count :) The other thing that does not count is if you don't read what others post and simply start a new thread and say the same thing others have already posted. DISCUSSION BOARD REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of three (3) posts is required this week.   Post 1 in any 1 of the 4 forum topics. This post should fully answer the questions using concepts addressed in the readings and examples to support your understanding. You are highly encouraged to post your initial discussion response early in the week in order to give others a chance to respond to it. Minimum 350 words, please include word count. Peer Reply 1 to a classmates' comments in a forum topic different from your Post 1. Consider responding to a peer who has not yet received any feedback from any clasmates. Your response should significantly further our discussion. Remember to do more than just agree or disagree with your classmates. Support your ideas with details, examples, and quotes (cite your sources as well). Minimum 200 words, please include word count.  Peer Reply 2 to a classmates' comments in a forum topic different from your Post 1 and Reply 1. Consider responding to a peer who has not yet received any feedback from any clasmates. Your response should significantly further our discussion. Remember to do more than just agree or disagree with your classmates. Support your ideas with details, examples, and quotes (cite your sources as well). Minimum 200 words, please include word count. Proper academic writing is expected. Remember: material from the assigned reading and lessons needs to be included and citations need to be provided at the end of the post along with the word count. You must complete your main post discussion and two (2) peer responses over three (3) separate days in three (3) different forums. Keep in mind that if I respond to your post by Friday of the active week and ask you to explain or clarify something in your initial post, you should plan to respond to that post as well, as it is likely to earn you more points for initial discussion. Posts to me do NOT count as peer responses. Please maintain academic integrity in your posts. If work shows any similarity issues, you may be cited to breach in academic integrity and receive no credit for your posts.

Hi, This Paper has been graded. So, I am going to upload two files. The first file is called Lab 8 Report Graded, where you can see the comments on how to make the paper better. The second one is called the Lab 8 Report paper, where you can edit it on that Word doc. Please use track changes so I can see what was done. Also, don't worry about the units missing on the Excel part, I will fix that part. Also, in this Lab 8 Report we had to use Arc gis software. there is nothing to be done, however, when you are trying to fix the mistakes, there is a part where I had to use arcgis and there are 3 picture which are wrong, I was suppose to look at the positive albedo and instead I circled the negative part of the albedo. I did add the new picture which are the correct ones. use that second part of the photo to answer it.
