For this assignment, you will find two additional articles related to your final project, read them, and then integrate the ideas. The articles must be peer-reviewed empirical research studies, meaning that they describe research conducted by the authors, and include Method, Results, and Discussion sections. These articles should be related to the topic of your project in some way. In this case, articles should be related to coping mechanisms and college students' stress. First, you will briefly summarize each article (1 paragraph for each article). Then you will discuss how the articles relate. This can include common themes in the articles, similarities, differences, etc. Your entire paper should be no more than 3 pages, double-spaced, size 12 font. Be sure to consider the following. For each study (1 paragraph each): Identify and briefly summarize the key points from each section of the article. // What general topic is the research addressing and what are their research questions? // What method did the researchers use (briefly summarize, but don't include specific numbers or measures)? // What did they find (again, no numbers, just describe the relationships between the most important variables)? // Why is this study important? // Synthesize your summaries (approximately 1 page) // How are findings similar? Do the results of both studies support the same ideas? // Are there similarities in methodologies between studies? // How are methods or findings different? // What do these combined articles tell us about your final project topic? // APA-style in-text citations and full references page at the end. No plagiarism: everything should be in your own words with APA style parenthetical citations. No direct quotes. // Attach a PDF copy of each of your articles.
Recent research suggests that categorization is a complex, fluid process and is shaped not only by the visible features (e.g., skin color, waist-to-hip ratio) but also by labels and higher-order social cognitive processes such as stereotypes or ideological attitudes (e.g., Benson and Volpe, 2022). Here is what I would like for you to reflect on. In recent years, California has included a non-binary option in some official documents including our driver’s licenses. In parallel, CA legislature passed assembly bill (953) Racial and Identity Profiling Act (RIPA). RIPA is a practice that mandates all law enforcement agencies “in the state to collect perceived demographic and other detailed data regarding pedestrian and traffic stops”. Given what you know about categorization, what are some challenges and opportunities this practice (RIPA) may pose? In writing your reflections, be sure to link your thoughts to the readings. You may wish to bring up your own experiences, discuss lingering questions, unresolved controversies, interesting implications, contradictions, or claims that you do not believe.

Students will write a paper describing one of the major mental health disorders that we study this term, this includes a title page and a reference page. The paper must be cited according to 7th Edition APA guidelines. The paper must contain the following information, written in narrative form (paragraph form, not in a list):1. The overview will contain the DSM 5 criteria written in narrative form. For this section, you may use either the textbook or the DSM 5 itself. Both sources must be cited per APA guidelines. Select one of the following disorders to write about, that we will/have discuss(ed) in class:Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)Bipolar I DisorderGeneralized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)Schizophrenia2. A brief description of the etiology of the disorder, this means a brief description of the causes of the disorder. Where does the disorder come from? Is it primarily neuropsychological or environmental, or from some other source? There can be several etiologies for each disorder. Your job is to review them and synthesize that information into paragraph form.3. A brief review of the most effective treatment options currently available. 4. Formatting, please include the following in your paper, (see the APA Information tab for details, Course Content>Important Course Information>APA Information):a. title page per APA 7th Edition b. paper to include an introduction, body paragraphs (the content of the paper), and a conclusionc. a reference page that begins on a separate page, per APA 7th Editiond. a minimum of three peer-reviewed references are required, your textbook, and the DSM 5 count towards this requiremente. abstracts and a table of contents are not requiredPlease be sure to review the rubric for details on grading. The rubric is attached to this post. Please refer to the APA materials in the classroom, or ask if assistance is needed with formatting your paper. Important reminders:1. the paper must use APA formatting and must have a minimum of 3 peer-reviewed sources (one may be your textbook). 2. the paper must be in Word format3. the paper must include a title page and a reference page 4.
I have provides parts 1, 2, and 3 for this assignment. Add to Parts 1-3 of your Organization Wide Operating Budget by identifying the Projected Profit/Loss for Year 1. This will require you to project actual revenue based on your projected revenue sources. Treatment codes (known as CPT codes) are used to define the type of treatment. Individual Psychotherapy 20-30 minutes is code 90804; 45-50 minutes is 90806, 75-80 minutes is 90808; Family Therapy is 90847; Group Therapy is 90853. Other common codes are listed on the recommended materials website pdf file #4. While there are significant differences in payment for each treatment code based on the payer source (Medicare/Medicare is generally the lowest payer source so this website listed on recommended materials #3 will generate your bottom line revenue projection); there are also significant differences in payment by licensure type, degree (masters vs. doctorate), state or urban/rural geographic location. Assume that traditional insurance like Blue Cross/Blue Shield will reimburse ~30-40% more than Medicare/Medicaid. Managed care and other payer sources will be somewhere in between. Private pay and grant funded clientele are the easiest to predict as long as you have an accurate representation of how many clients will be served by these payer sources. Create a minimum (based on the lowest paying source for all clients) and optimum (based on what you think will happen with clientele’s payer sources) profit/loss projection based on subtracting the amount from your previous assignment’s conclusion of expenses. If you have a profit, determine if it is enough profit to justify your time/effort/educational investment/etc.? If you have a loss, where can you find additional income sources (i.e., fundraising events, charity sponsorship, partnerships with other related organizations, additional private or public grants) to make up for this loss and how feasible is this?

Review the quantitative research designs in the required readings and choose one that is suitable for your research question and hypotheses. Explain why this choice is most appropriate to test your hypotheses. Describe the target population, the desired sample, and any cultural considerations that may be involved. In your initial post, consider the following: Compare and contrast the characteristics of experimental and nonexperimental quantitative research. State the research question the researchers were trying to answer in the study. Identify the type of quantitative research design that was used in the assigned study. Evaluate whether the researchers’ conclusion follows logically from the evidence presented. Identify threats to internal and external validity that might apply to how this study was conducted. Determine whether validity threats were addressed by the researchers. If so, describe how this was done. Summarize ethical considerations that were mentioned in the research report. Assess what ethical considerations apply to the design of the study but that were not mentioned by the researchers. Explain how you might do a study on this topic differently and why your approach would be more appropriate than the one used by the researchers. Evaluate whether a quantitative approach would be useful for the research topic you chose in Week 1. Describe the actions you would take to ensure that a quantitative study on your topic would be ethical. What is happening in Yemen?! The situation in Yemen has been at the forefront of the news recently and it is a complete chaotic mess in that country. In this week's Research Journal, students are to give a brief overview of the issues in Yemen to include: the current situation involving the Houthi movement & the recent UN brokered peace agreement, the Iranian involvement, the Saudi & US intervention, as well as the continued presence & operations of AQAP & ISIS in Yemen. Why is this situation in Yemen so important to international terrorism (or counter-terrorism efforts)?
I need help with writing a literature review for my dissertation. My research question is “What are the underlying factors that influence voting behavior among the youth in the Maldives?”. The motivation behind this study is to address the existing gap in the literature and contributing by identifying the factors for youth voting behavior in the Maldives. For the literature review I want to explain, analyse and criticize 3-4 theories of voting and how this could apply to the Maldives. These include social identity voting theory, political socialization theory, life cycle theory and political identity theory. Political identity theory is the theory I want to choose in my theoretical framework. My hypothesis is that voter turnout among the youth in the Maldives is low due to a lack of of a political identity.
