Using information learned in the lecture, the textbook reading, dance films on Native American dance traditions, and the reading/viewing assignment Dreaming In Indian, write a 300 word essay that addresses the two following questions. When answering both questions, use the information from the film and videos with parenthetical citations to indicate what you have learned, how you felt or related to the stories, and what was inspiring or curious to you. Also, note that you are to provide clear and specific evidence for all of your thoughts and opinions in each discussion board. Create at least one paragraph for each question. a. For First Nations peoples who had lost most of their dance traditions because of outsider interference or prohibitions, how have the dances and associated customs now become symbols of survival and native identity? b.
