Essay paper 2 (300 points, due Wednesday, December 11) DIRECTIONS: Write a 4-5 page paper (1100-1300 words, Times New Roman font, 12-size, double-spaced) on ONE of these 2 prompts: For over a hundred years, Chicagoans have struggled with equal access to decent housing. Discuss how suburbanization and the public housing projects in the post-1945 era and the current housing crisis play into this long-standing feature of Chicagoland’s history Incorporate information from at least 3 Diagrams from #1- 5. Chicagoans have had a long history with police brutality and an unresponsive city government. Discuss key episodes in Chicago’s history where the city government/police “failed” the people. Incorporate information from at least 3 Diagrams from #5-8.In your paper, be sure to quote key phrases or sentences that illustrates or supports your arguments. An “A” paper will bring in additional ideas, facts, and arguments from the Cronon/Pacyga bookts and the lecture notes. You are not allowed to cite sources from outside the assigned readings, or the internet, without permission of your TA. Papers are due on Blackboard by 11:59pm of December 11. Late papers will be penalized 10 points for each day late. CITATIONS: No “Works Cited” or bibliography page is needed. Your paper should have at least 2-3 citations/quotes per paragraph. Try to have least one citation from lecture notes, and one from your Cronon/Pacyga textbook. Keep your citations simple by using the in-text citation method. Below are examples to show the kinds of sources and citations you should use in your essay paper. Guidelines Capstone Project Proposal Outline - ( Proposal template) I.Title Page The title page should be APA formatted, and include your name, project title, course information, and date. II.Abstract The abstract should be located at the top of your document and limited to 350-words. The abstract summarizes the Project Proposal and closely resembles the Logic Model.
