Please turn in an Essay Reflection on the Six Source Essay ( attached) WA#4: Essay Reflection Task:  Choose one of your formal papers, either the Six-Source Essay or the MultiSource Essay/Literature Review, and write a reflection on the essay in terms of both process and product.  Format: APA 7 Point of view: The essay reflection will be written in the first person point of view. The reflective essay is an opportunity for writers to critically assess the progress they have made in thinking, researching, and writing about a chosen topic. Writing a reflective essay allows a writer to tell the unique story of how a topic idea, cultivated through research, grew into a paper. It is a chance to think in a sustained way about the context, objectives, and process of a writing project. Remember to talk specifically about choices you made regarding summarizing and synthesizing sources in your paper. Use examples from your paper to help your readers to understand your process.  Here are some questions that will help you to prepare for a reflective paper: Context:  What was the purpose of the essay?  Do I think I achieved that purpose?  What do research sources say about my chosen topic?  Did the research say different things than I expected it to say?  How did the readers react to the paper?  What was interesting, surprising, or difficult about the reactions to the paper?  Objectives:  What are my learning goals for the course?  How did researching and writing the essay help me to further those goals? What obstacles presented themselves that hindered my progress towards those goals? What ideas did I have about my topic when I began? How did the research sources affect those ideas?  Did my ideas change as a result of the thinking, researching, and writing process? Did researchers from different fields report different findings on the topic?  What information did I want readers to have as a result of reading the paper?  What information do I want readers to have now? Process:  What was my experience in researching the topic?  What was my experience in writing the paper?  How did I synthesize sources in the papers? What specific choices did I make?  What challenges did I face as I did the work? What successes did I achieve?  How did I respond to these challenges and successes?  How did responses from other readers and writers change my process?

This is a personal Vision and Mission Assignment. When we look at organizations ...

This is a personal Vision and Mission Assignment. When we look at organizations from past and the present as well as apply conjecture into the future, obstacles will emerge, whether in (a) our career paths; (b) the way subordinates, colleagues, and superiors view us (c) our leadership style; and (d) the preparation needed to best accelerate our professional opportunities especially in a global and highly diverse world. Organizations are represented by people from a vast array of backgrounds and life experiences (i.e., personal, professional). Since we must work in a “diverse” world, introspection regarding our own leadership, communication, and thinking styles is key to understanding our successes and failures as leaders.  As an aspiring leader, it is critical that you understand leadership issues through many lenses. For this assignment, you are asked to create a personal philosophy addressing the topic “What Is Leadership and Who You are as a Leader.” In addition, you will need to include a minimum of 5 scholarly resources to support your positions.  Successful responses to this assignment should be relevant to your future as a leader, both personally and professionally. Through this assignment, you should learn more about yourself as well as be able to assess key characteristics of organizations. In your research, you should look at other future thinking organizations that are continually changing and redefining the way they conduct business and deal with the culture. For this assignment, you may write in the first person where applicable (especially with your survey results). Your paper will be organized with the bolded subtitles and the content as follows: Title Page: Personal Philosophy of Education

Kaleeyah Hopkins Manage Discussion by Kaleeyah Hopkins Reply from Kaleeyah Hopkins Hello class, When considering clinical evaluation strategies that are fair and accurate in measuring student learning, competence, and safety in the clinical setting, it's important to choose methods that address the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains of learning. Three clinical evaluation strategies that align with a holistic approach to nursing education are Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), clinical performance rubrics, and reflective journals and self-assessment. Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) are structured practical exams where students rotate through stations and perform specific clinical tasks within a set timeframe. Each station assesses a different skill or component of clinical practice, ranging from history-taking and physical examinations to emergency response and communication skills. OSCEs are designed to be objective, standardized, and consistent, which helps reduce evaluator bias. In terms of learning domains, OSCEs assess the cognitive domain by requiring students to make clinical decisions, prioritize care, and apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios. They evaluate the psychomotor domain through tasks that require students to perform specific clinical skills, such as administering injections or inserting IVs. The affective domain is assessed through scenarios requiring interaction with standardized patients, thereby evaluating communication skills, empathy, professionalism, and ethical decision-making. This strategy aligns with my teaching philosophy, which emphasizes fairness, consistency, and providing students with opportunities to demonstrate their competencies in a controlled, realistic setting. Clinical performance rubrics are detailed assessment tools that outline specific criteria for evaluating various aspects of clinical competence. Rubrics provide clear expectations and allow both students and instructors to understand what is being evaluated and how performance is measured. They are particularly useful for ongoing, formative assessments during clinical rotations. Rubrics assess the cognitive domain by measuring students' ability to apply theoretical knowledge in clinical settings, including decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking. They evaluate the psychomotor domain by assessing hands-on clinical skills through direct observation and evaluation of technique, safety, and adherence to best practices. The affective domain is evaluated by including criteria related to interpersonal skills, professionalism, teamwork, and ethical conduct, such as communication with patients and colleagues, cultural sensitivity, and response to feedback. This method aligns with my teaching philosophy by promoting transparency and continuous feedback, encouraging self-reflection and growth within a supportive learning environment.

Week 8 Discussion 1 I do not support the use of grading on the curve because it is unfair and provides a fierce competition among the students which does not depict their performance. Grading on a curve is a procedure of altering students’ results so that a specific proportion of them gets better or worse results than they ought to based on their performance. This approach can unfairly penalize students who perform well, but not well enough to be at the top of the curve, and it can reward those who perform better than their peers but may still not fully grasp the subject matter (Jephcote et al., 2021). Furthermore, grading on a curve promotes rivalries between students and students stop learning but instead strive to achieve a higher grade than their peers. Rather, I think that the grading system of the class should be an absolute one that depicts how well each student has grasped the content of the course. This way, the students can be evaluated based on their potential and not on the competitiveness with the other students. It encourages a competitive spirit where students are challenged to do their best not against the other students in the class (Howitz et al., 2020). Also, using absolute scale of grading helps the students to know their performance level and thus work on their performance rather than working to beat others.

The film “And the Band Played On” portrays the early years of the AIDS epide ...

The film “And the Band Played On” portrays the early years of the AIDS epidemic in the United States. In spite of opposition from politicians and medical professionals, Dr. Don Francis advocates for the discovery of AIDS in the movie (Andrylbitencourt, 2014). In an effort to understand more about the illness and look into the spread, he joins the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where he eventually receives an AIDS diagnosis. The social stigma attached to AIDS is one of the main issues that has impeded the fight against the illness. Stigma has a negative effect on health outcomes, including worse quality of life overall, missed visits, poor medication adherence, and greater melancholy. Back then, people's views on homosexuality were more conservative than they are today. Whenever AIDS has won, stigma, shame, skepticism, discrimination, and apathy have all been on its side. Each time AIDS has been defeated, it has been because of people's willingness to trust one another, communicate openly, support from families and communities, human solidarity, and a never-ending search for solutions. I do not believe the AIDS epidemic could have been prevented. AIDS could have been averted, but it was difficult to stop due to a lack of resources and information about the virus and its spread. The lack of information, particularly in regard to available resources like condoms for protection while having sexual intercourse and the need to test for AIDS and take necessary management interventions in case one tests positive is among the reasons AIDS has prevailed. Unlike in the past, HIV/AIDS is now a preventable disease that can be prevented with good education and the use of a number of services. More healthcare providers are aware of the diseases than ever before, and drugs for HIV/AIDS treatment are being investigated and developed. HIV-positive individuals should also use ARVS in order to prevent adverse health impacts and live for longer (Straubinger et.al, 2020).
