Establishing trust is also a crucial part; participants must feel comfortable sharing their experiences without fear of judgment or repercussion (Woodend & Arthur, 2022). Scheduling interviews must accommodate students' academic commitments and time zone differences, especially if interviews are conducted remotely (Eigege et al., 2020). A qualitative study designed from the phenomenons I previously identified also necessitates ethical considerations. Confidentiality and informed consent is vital, given the personal nature of the information shared (Thompson et al., 2023). Researchers involved must also be culturally competent, recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds of participants (Fennel, 2020; Woodend & Arthur, 2022). Employing open-ended interview questions can encourage detailed responses which allows students to express their thoughts and feelings freely, which is better for researcher interpretation.
