Description PLEASE REWRITE THIS DISCUSSION POST TO ENSURE ITS NOT AI GENERATED AND WILL PASS THE TURNIT SYSTEM!!! To the Editor, Cancer is a disease that has touched many lives, but did you know that some cancers can be prevented just by making healthier choices? While some people may inherit a higher risk of cancer from their family, many cancers are actually caused by things we’re exposed to in our everyday environment. One of the biggest causes of cancer is smoking. Cigarettes have chemicals in them—called carcinogens—that can damage the DNA inside our cells. When that damage builds up, it can cause cells to grow out of control and form a lump or tumor. This is how cancer can start. According to the American Cancer Society (2019), smoking is linked to about 30% of all cancer deaths in the U.S. The good news is that there are many treatments available, like chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, which help remove or kill cancer cells. And scientists are always finding better ways to treat it. One exciting treatment is called immunotherapy, which helps your own immune system find and destroy cancer cells—kind of like turning your body into a cancer-fighting superhero (Wayne, 2017). But the best thing we can do is try to prevent cancer before it starts. Avoiding tobacco, eating more fruits and vegetables, getting regular exercise, and protecting your skin from too much sun can all help lower your risk. We can’t control everything, but we can make smart choices that help us live longer, healthier lives. References American Cancer Society. (2019). Description This has to be an observation paper on a child, age 3-6. This may involve going down to the park or local library, or you may even just make it up. It also may be worth including what is noticed about Heinz's stages of moral of development and then talk about some child rearing aspects noticed in the parent-child relationship. Things such as where is the parent on a scale of warmth to coldness. Is the parent restrictive or permissive. Lastly, write about how the child is doing socially. Some things to look for: Does the child explore? How close does the child stay to the mother? How does the parent - child relationship seem? What type of attachment do you think the child has with the parent? How do you think this child feels about themselves? How is the child's self-esteem? How does the child interact with others? How responsive is the parent - both verbally & non - verbally? What happens during separation? How does the child display or show emotions? Does this child have empathy? Is there mirroring? How do you feel watching this child? Based on your observation - make some predictions about the child's future. Description This is related to the research task. You'll create a teaching plan for the population you selected in the Age-Appropriate Assessment & Health Promotion assignment. You've already done the groundwork! First, review the article 5 Strategies for Providing Effective Patient Education, https://www.wolterskluwer.com/en/expert-insights/5-strategies-for-providing-effective-patient-education . Patient Education Tips for New Nurses, https://www.nursingcenter.com/journalarticle?Article_ID=1603879&;Journal_ID=54016&Issue_ID=1603669 and the information in the Motivational Interviewing site. https://www.rcn.org.uk/404?item=%2fclinical-topics%2fsupporting-behaviour-change&;user=extranet%5cAnonymous&site=website . from the Royal College of Nursing. Use these articles to guide you in completing your assignment. Next, select one of the age-specific assessment considerations you summarized. Imagine that you're working with someone from that age range who is at risk for or is dealing with the issue you assessed for. For example, if you discussed assessing a 2-year-old for autism, you are now working with a 2-year-old who is on the autism spectrum. Create a teaching plan for that patient (or caregiver, if that's more appropriate). Your teaching plan must include: An assessment of the learner's readiness for teaching and ability to learn. Make sure to include at least 2 factors that might hinder their ability or motivation to learn. A measurable objective (aka SMART goal, as explained here) for your teaching, which should be developed in conjunction with the learner. This means you collaborate with your fictional learner to determine what they want to learn, then phrase it as an objective. For example: "The patient is worried about falling at home. By the time the patient is discharged, he will be able to describe at least three things he can do in his home to decrease his risk of falling." A brief outline of the content you'll teach and what resource(s) you'll use. A description of how you'll perform the teaching. Be sure to consider whether you'll use a single teaching session or multiple sessions. How you'll promote continued learning about the topic. An explanation of how and when you'll assess the learning. APA citations and references for any sources you use. You've learned about nursing standards, leadership, caring, culture, communication, and evidence-based practice in this course. Do your best to pull those in and use them in this assignment! Although I'm asking you to create this plan for a fictional patient, do your best to be realistic about how and when you would incorporate this type of teaching into your work day. I don't want an idealized teaching plan that will never work in your practice environment. I want something you could realistically use. This assignment should be typed in a format which can be uploaded to Canvas and viewed across multiple types of devices. Description In class we discussed agriculture, food production, and its environmental impacts. Please reflect on this as you respond to the following prompts for your discussion post: What do you think about when you make food choices (i.e. convenience, taste, nutrition, etc.)? Do you consider the environment when you make food choices? Should you be considering the environment? (This requires an explanation as to why or why not you consider the environment, not just a yes or a no) What is your biggest concern about the way food is currently produced? What do you think needs to be done to improve the sustainability of agriculture? Are there changes you are willing to make to increase the sustainability of your food consumption? Please also respond to two classmates with a minimum of 3 sentences beyond a greeting and a simple, "I agree" or "I disagree". Description I need your help with writing a discussion for a graph, similar to the example I attach. You can use the same reference, but please ensure it’s written in your own words. Avoid copying and pasting or using AI tools like ChatGPT. And there is a bar-chart figures you need to write a discussion or comparing like for example ( the cars in each day are high expect Sunday are very low ……) and for the figure that ( wind rose) paraphrase the graph in your own words make sure 100% no ai UNFORMATTED ATTACHMENT PREVIEW Description: The Wind Rose Histogram (Sunday - Thursday) visually captures how wind speed and direction are distributed throughout the week. It breaks wind directions into 16 categories, with wind speeds grouped into different ranges, shown in varying shades of blue. The labels (N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW) provide a clear directional reference, making it easy to interpret wind patterns. This visualization highlights dominant wind directions and their intensity, offering valuable insights for applications like air quality studies, aviation safety, and urban planning. The Wind Rose Diagram shows that the wind primarily blows from the Southeast (SE) and Northwest (NW), making these the dominant wind directions in the area. The strongest winds, reaching around 7.7 m/s, come from the Southeast (SE), indicating a significant prevailing wind from this direction. Moderate wind speeds, around 5-6 m/s, are common in the Northeast (NNE) and East-Southeast (ESE) directions, reflecting steady but less intense airflow. Lighter winds, around 2-4 m/s, are recorded in the South-East (SE) and North-Northwest (NNW) regions, suggesting weaker wind activity. Interestingly, there are no calm wind conditions, meaning air movement is constant in some direction. This has important implications for air quality management, urban development, and wind energy potential. Description Part 1 (Ergonomics) Jennifer Veitch, PhD, a senior research office ...

Description Part 1 (Ergonomics) Jennifer Veitch, PhD, a senior research officer at the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa, investigates how indoor lighting affects employee well-being and productivity and how employee behaviors affect the use of resources and energy. Dr. Veitch recently completed a study on the impact of control over workspace lighting on workers. Findings of her research revealed that when people have control over the lighting in their work spaces, their moods are more upbeat, they are more committed to their employers, and they have overall improved well-being. Individually controlled lighting also reduced lighting energy use by 10 percent. For this unit's discussion, please share your thoughts on the pros and cons of implementing individually controlled lighting in an office environment. Part 2 (Industrial Hygiene) Several organizations publish occupational exposure limits (OELs) including the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) permissible exposure limits (PELs), the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists' (ACGIH) threshold limit values (TLVs), and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health's (NIOSH) recommended exposure limits (RELs). Only OSHA's PELs are legally enforceable. Discuss why you would only use the OSHA PEL at a facility where you were the safety officer, or alternatively, why you would choose to use one of the other OELs or a combination of the OELs.
