Key Assignment Draft Additional Information: The board at AGC needs a status update on your change management project. Shawn wants to bring you in to consult about how this should be handled and what challenges may be in store for him during this feedback process. Shawn asks you to write an executive report for John and the board of directors regarding the change management process and all progress made in resolving the global human capital management problems associated with AGC. Shawn meets you for lunch to discuss what he needs. "It's good to see you," he says. "Thanks for calling," you say. "I have enjoyed working with you on this project." "I'll get right to the point," he says. "We need you to develop an executive report of the overall plan and all activities completed to date. This report should include an overview regarding the value of human capital management, various human capital management problems, leadership styles and their impact on organizational cultures, the steps in your change management plan, diagnostics, data analysis, action planning, and interventions implemented. This list is not all-inclusive." "Okay," you say. "Is there anything else that needs to be included in the report?" "Glad you ask," he says. "You need to provide responses to some questions, as well. I'll send a contract that spells everything out." "Very good," you say. The next day, Shawn's contract arrives, and it itemizes all of the requirements for the report that he talked about at lunch. The executive report should be 1,500–2,000 words and should include the following: An overview of the value of implementing human capital management strategies List at least five human capital management problems at AGC Leadership styles and their impact on organizational cultures The steps in your change management plan including: Methods of diagnosis Data analysis Root cause analysis Action planning A list of critical interventions that need to be integrated at AGC How will you measure the effectiveness of the plan?  What could be improved? What are the next steps? Scholarly references change_management_ppt.pptx assignmentdetails_7_31_2016.pdf

Consider at least one point when responding to your peers  1.  I feel as though today art and technology are closely connected. For example artists use technology all the time to create digital art and help them to create things, such as muralists sometimes sketch or create there art on a tablet and then project it on there surface or use it as a reference. It is also was easier to access now because of social media and the interent.  i feel like as things changed and grew like books and technologies changed during that time they i believe that even then art closely followed the growth of technologies. they said that printing presses came to europe to print books and im sure that art was extremly affected because of that. 2. I have zero perception of the relationship between art and technology. I am hoping to learn as we go through this class together. The piece by Jan Van Eyck, Giovanni Arnolfini, and His Wife caught my interest for two reasons. The first reason is the name of the piece, "....and His Wife". The second is the way "His Wife" is looking at him. I know women have come a very long way in their places in society, these two examples portray the "place" of a woman in the 1400s and the role of the husband. I also read that the lady is pulling/bunching her dress up in the front to exhibit her willingness to have his children.  I do not know the relationship between art and technology. I can only assume that in today's time, technology would be used to recreate a piece of art from a time when that could not be done so easily. I will admit that this course has already proven to be more difficult to understand than others, but I am eager to learn and read what others have learned and are excited about!

Questions for group discussion: A) What observations lead Charles Darwin and Alfred Wallace to propose the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection? B) What inferences did they come up with? Natural Selection doesn’t produce the perfect solution. A) What are the limitations of Natural Selection? B) What are the three types of selection? Give an example of each one. A) Explain how lack of genetic variation limits evolution and provide an example. A) Explain how the Hardy-Weinberg equation allows us to find evidence of evolution. B) Could processes other than Natural Selection result in deviation from the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium? List and explain each one: C) define what the process is and D) the effect it has on the allele frequency. Questions 5-6 are based on the following: Let’s say you are studying a population of Japanese four o’clock plants. In these plants, the allele for red color flower shows incomplete dominance over the allele for white flowers. This is very convenient for this experiment because you can distinguish the heterozygous (CRCW pink flowers) from the homozygous dominant (CRCR red flowers). For your experiment, you produced a large number of plants, 25% had red flowers (CRCR), 25% had white flowers (CWCW) and 50% had pink flowers(CRCW). Calculate the allele frequency of this population, what is the value of p & q? You transplanted them into different habitats and left some in the lab (using the same proportions in all the habitats). You waited a few years, while plants reproduce for a few generations and then you go back and resample the populations you’ve transplanted. In the lab, you ensured that all individuals receive all requirements to grow and reproduce and mate randomly. A) Is the lab population in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium? Yes/No, explain B) If the population is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, what do you expect the distribution of the phenotypes after a few generations breeding in the lab? C) Calculate the value of p and q. In habitat A, you find that half of the population have red flowering plants (CRCR), and the other half have white flowering plants (CWCW) but there are no pink flowering plants (CRCW). A) What is the value for p and q in this population? B) Is the population in habitat A in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium? Yes/No, explain. C) Which one(s) of the five agents of evolutionary change could be responsible for these results? Explain. D) What type(s) of selection (stabilizing, disruptive, directional, oscillating, etc...) could be responsible for the results in habitat A? Explain.

Part I Find a popular press article online or in a newspaper or magazine (not a blog) about a neurophysiology experiment that uses fMRI or another imaging technique to illuminate some aspect of human behavior or experience (emotions, violence, intelligence, irrationality, attention, etc). Then read the scientific research publication it references. In about 500 words describe the area of cognitive neuroscience that the paper is centered on giving an introductory overview of the topic and what is currently know about that area of neuroscience. This will set the scene for the research article that you have chosen to describe and review the popular press article.   Part II In 500 words give a short overview of the original research paper and its findings. Briefly describe the research premise and main findings. Discuss the conclusions of the paper made by the authors and in your own words discuss the implications of this paper. Is the data presented in this article robust? Does the paper represent a major breakthrough in this area of research, are the conclusions convincing? What are the limitations of the research and its findings? How robust a technology is fMRI and what are its limitations? How is fMRI used in cognitive neuroscience, is it a good choice of technique to use? What studies could follow this one to support the reported findings? Does this paper significantly increase our understanding of a cognitive neuroscience topic?  Part III Now in the next 500 words review the popular press presentation of the research. The following questions should guide your analysis: What claims of significance and implication are made in the scientific publication, and how are these recast as they move into the public domain? What popular cultural assumptions and attitudes are embedded in the original presentation of scientific research, and which are added or amplified in its popular retelling? What hopes, fears, and speculations get voiced in the popularization of the research? What limitations of the experimental setup and qualifications on the results are excluded/overlooked? How does the presentation enhance or distort the research presented in the scientific publication?

Step 1 Locate 3 credible information sources and create an outline in a bullet list format including major topics, with some supportive detail for each topic. It should not be a draft with full sentences and paragraphs. Write 1-2 sentences for each information source explaining why you believe these sources are credible. Include references to the 3 information sources in APA format. Step 2 Write a paper about Bioprinting that consists of a title page, introduction, several paragraphs addressing the questions for your chosen topic, conclusion, and references. The outline in Step 1 should be the starting point. The paper should be 750-1500 words, excluding references and the title page. The paper should consist of less than 10% direct quotes. Quotation marks must be used at the start and end of a direct quote, followed by an in-text citation. When paraphrasing, you should also use text citations to acknowledge the source. A list of references in APA format should be included at the end. The following questions should be addressed in the paper. What is bioprinting and how does the process work? Describe how bioprinting can form complex biomaterials, relating it to what you have learned about cells, tissues, and organs from the course readings. What are stem cells and how can they be used for bioprinting? What is bioink and how is it used for bioprinting? Include at least two specific examples of current research in this field. Include references to peer-reviewed scholarly papers. What are some of the benefits of bioprinting? What are the current challenges with bioprinting? Conclude with predictions for the future. Do you believe that people could benefit from this technology in their lifetime? Briefly explain your reasoning.
