Your Business Portfolio Throughout your journey in the program, you will build a professional business portfolio to share with future employers. You will add one core assignment to the business portfolio in each course within the program. These assignments will demonstrate your strategic thinking in each area, and they will also reflect your growth and development. Overview For this assignment, imagine again that you work for the global company you chose in your first assignment. You are in charge of improving the training and development of employees who are selected for international assignments. Instructions Please review the information posted in the Instructor Insights for resources to assist you. Develop a 3–4 page (plus the cover page and reference page) outline of pre-departure training with a thorough description and explanation of the training programs that you suggest for improving expatriate performance. Your assignment must address the following: Describe the specific training needs of new expatriate employees. Describe each component of pre-departure training and how it will address the needs of the new expatriate employees Provide a detailed overview of the training with rationale for each area of emphasis. Explain how the training will improve the expatriate experience for the new assignment. Integrate at least three supporting resources, one from the textbook and the others from the Strayer University Library databases. This course requires the use of Strayer Writing Standards (SWS).
