Chapter 11 challenges the learner about strategic leadership and change management. Initial Post Instructions The text argues that strategic leadership is the leader's ability to anticipate, envision, maintain flexibility, think strategically and work with others to initiate change (Lussier & Achua, 2016). Do you support this definition and is all inclusive? Do Lussier & Achua miss anything important? How do you define "think strategically"? Support your initial analysis with external references. Secondary Post Instructions Reflect on your initial post and that of your peers. What are some of the limitations of these leadership styles? The textbook argues that the essence of strategic planning is change within organizations. Yet change is difficult for both leaders and followers. What can leaders do to help themselves and their followers adapt to the changes needed to meet strategic goals?
