Weather & Climate: Location Primer Using the location you chose for your project, describe/define the following: Climate:  include the Koppen-Geiger classification with the description; annual mean temperature & mean monthly temperature range Topography: describe the elevation of your location and any pertinent geology features (mountains, plains, ocean, etc.) Land-use:  locate a generalized zoning or how the land is used in your location Precipitation Changes:  general precipitation trend, changes over the century, impacts of precipitation (flooding, pollution, etc.) IPCC Future Projections:  global warming, sea level rise, weather events, etc. Energy Sources:  where power comes from (gas, hydroelectric, etc.) Population: population this year, population density The above may be in notation fashion.  Include the bullets and category, then informal notes for each.  Be sure to include references at the end of the assignment.
