The block is located in the Civil Engineering laboratory (ED building - G06 strong floor) (Figure 3). ? The Schmidt hammer (Type L) available from the University Civil lab (and located in Anna's office) can be used for your assignment. Consider Figures 4 and 5 and ROCK SCHMIDT OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS provided with the Assignment (Proceq) to obtain appropriate estimation.
