Domino's Pizza, Inc. is one of the major pizza delivery companies in the world. Pizza restaurant chain engaged in providing pizza delivery and carryout services as well as dine-in services through its restaurants. The company offers its customers a wide range of pizzas products with varying crusts and sizes, pasta-based dishes, chicken wings, boneless chicken, oven-baked sandwiches, bread side items, soft drinks and desserts. It operates through a network of over 18,800 locations in more than 90 countries around the world as of January 2022. The company classifies its operations through three business segments: Supply Chain, U.S. stores and International Franchise. They have expanded beyond the United States, with a large number of international stores. The technological factor trade tensions, regional conflicts, and pandemics have highlighted the industry's reliance on supply chains and the risks of disruptions. Rising inflation has increased Intel's production costs and slowed consumer spending on electronic devices, negatively impacting the company's revenue and profits. Social Factors: workforce diversity has been front and center of every organization. Intel needs to continue to work on improving its diversity. Remote work, and growing dependence on technology has been also driving demand for Intel's products. Takeda should politically analyze different healthcare regulations of the government and processes involved in approving drugs in regions such as Europe, Asia, and the United States. The company should also look into its economic environment by considering inflation and fluctuations of the currencies to understand their effects on the revenue streams because its operations involve emerging and developed nations (DuVal, 2022). It should also look into the sociocultural determinants, including the population of older adults and the trends within mental health with the shaping of personalized treatment for therapeutic activities such as neuroscience or oncology. The company should also consider emerging advancements in the technology environment, including artificial intelligence and its applications in biotechnological and digital healthcare opportunities. It will help the company develop strategic partnerships with the research institutions. Takeda should also consider the environmental factors influencing its operations, such as sustainability programs with the risks involved in climate change that can manipulate the decisions on the production and supply of its products. Thus, the PESTEL framework will help acknowledge the available opportunities and threats within its operations to align with the regulations, sustainability, and compliance with global trends.
