This assignment requires you to write a decision essay for the case study in the case study below. Specifically, essay content should be organized under the following sections. Attached, you will find a document on how to write a case study and the outlining for each section. Position Statement (state a position/ recommendation up front, avoid restating background info about the case, assume the reader the knows the situation) Decision Options (assume decision options are mutually exclusive) Decision Criteria ("rules" by which the decision is made, must be clearly identified, range from technical (EX: financial ratios) to broad criteria (EX: strategic imperative), choose 2 or 3 most vital criteria) Proof of Recommended Option (apply the criteria to each option, present evidence consistent with the criteria, the "proof" shows how the recommended option best fits the criteria and info given in the case) Critique of Rejected Options (proof of one option doesn't invalidate the other, must explain why other options are less optimal, critiques should stress the weaknesses of rejected options) Disadvantages of Recommended Option (persuasive arguments, identify weak points of recommendations, argue why they are manageable, do not outweigh the strong points) Action Plan (outlines how a decision will be achieved, goals, short-term and long-term steps, risks & countermeasures) and conform to the following format and limits. Six-page limit for written text (1,500 words or less).
