The purpose of this essay is to assess your personal information-seeking behaviors, i.e. how you look for information and conduct your research. Please be sure to review the assignment formatting guidelines. All references must be properly cited in APA format. In approximately 250 words, describe an instance in which you were searching for information. This could be a personal instance (such as looking for a restaurant while traveling), or something you did for an academic reason (such as writing a research paper for a class). download a template for this assignment. A description of your search strategies (which sources did you rely on, and how did you decide to go there?) An overall assessment of your research behavior, including how you determined that your needs were met.
