The purpose of completing annotated bibliographies in this class is to prepare the student for current and future research. The idea is to learn how to research for information and then critique the information for knowledge use and for validity. Completing these annotations will allow the student to build and create a portfolio of information for future reference. The annotation should be in the student’s own words – do not copy and paste directly from the abstract or the text. Write your annotated bibliography with "tags" in your example that follows the guidelines example: My first sentence will provide a broad summary of the article.
