The Personal Reflection assignment connects the concepts discussed in class and covered in the readings to your own experiences or plans. For this assignment students should submit a 2-page document (800-1000 words) that discusses how one or more of the concepts from the course connects to you on a personal or professional level. You may cover events in the past or present or use the assignment to express your intentions or aspirations for the future. The assignment will be graded on the quality and depth of the personal reflection as well as the clarity of connection (be sure to use and footnote citations/references!). Logical organization of the material and quality of writing will be considered. (TRY TO RELATE THE READINGS TO PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AN INDIVIDUAL MAY HAVE AND CONNECT THE READINGS TO THEM.
