The Nor'easters are a start-up business with all the challenges associates with creating a new service environment, establishing a customer base, creating a revenue model, and dealing with competition. They have relatively strong leadership and seemingly also know about the industry and their market. As a minor league team they have three primary revenue streams 1) ticket sales 2) concession and merchandise sales 3) media sales. Other cost off-sets come from the city/state and their parent ‘team’ with whom they sign a Player Development Contract.
