Section I: Interview a ‘recent’ (? 10 years) refugee or immigrant who meets the following ‘inclusion’ and ‘exclusion’ criteria: Inclusion criteria: (1) a racial/ethnic minority; (2) ever used social or health services Exclusion criterion: International students (i.e., F-visa holders), business visa holders (E-visa), or other temporary visa holders (e.g., travel visa holders) because they are not considered “immigrants.” For Section II, interview the staff at the organization (or a similar organization) that the immigrant/refugee you interviewed for Section I is using (or has ever used). The goal is to learn about (i) how macro factors (i.e., policy or laws) affect the organization working for their immigrant/refugee clients and (ii) a place where an amendment/improvement needs to be made.
