Research goal Understand Physician Perception of Telemedicine Strategies to Support Patient-Physician Rapport Research methodology Qualitative Descriptive study will be conducted for each participant through Questionnaires/Interviews/Focus groups Communication method Zoom video conference (Physicians can be located anywhere in the u.s.) Research session duration 60 minutes Number of participants 20 Participant criteria Currently practicing physicians such as MD, DO, Doctor of dental Surgery/Dental Medicine, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, Doctor of Optometry, Chiropractors Preferably doctors that are in the category of family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. ·At least 5 year of experience seeing patients in person ·Practiced telemedicine (i.e., video chat with patients) within the last 5-10 years or more ·Looking for 9 female physicians (60%) and 6 male physicians (40%), indicating a slight female majority. The age of participants should range from 35 to 62 years old. Location: U.S. Goal of conducting the study: 1.Understand Physician Perspectives: Gauge how physicians view telemedicine tools and practices in terms of building and maintaining rapport with patients. This includes their attitudes towards virtual interactions compared to in-person visits. 2.Identify Challenges: Pinpoint specific challenges or barriers physicians encounter when trying to establish a strong patient relationship through telemedicine. This might include technical issues, communication difficulties, or perceived lack of personal connection. 3.Evaluate Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of various telemedicine strategies in supporting or enhancing rapport. This helps determine which practices or tools are most successful in fostering meaningful interactions. I would like for this tutor to assist with recruiting 20 Physicians within the United States who practice telemedicine. The final product should have the name, phone number, and email of the MDs, DOs I can reach out to.
