This assignment concerns many of the topics covered in Units 2  (Climate Change) and 4 (Ecological Footprint) , that which you may use  as reference along other with other useful sources on the internet or as  included below.  Complete your own work.  Be aware of plagiarism and cite any sources that you may quote or closely paraphrase.  Answer the following questions regarding food resources: 1) Using the below website, outline the basic categories of diets  that are vegetarian or otherwise.  Then describe your basic diet.  Use  the below link to categorize various types of diets where variations of  animal-based products are in your diet, or do you primarily consume a  meat diet? (4 points) 3) Concerning two of the foods/dishes you listed above,  preferably one of your favorites and one of your common foods, provide  an analysis of them from the standpoint of how they are produced and/or  harvested, and its perceived impact toward sustainability, or not.   Particularly address aspects of food production from Units 2 and 4, such  as, a) country of origin/harvest/production, b) industrial agriculture  versus locally grown/sourced, c) basic amount of resources (water and  food/soil) to produce, d) genetically modified?, e) land impacted, and  f) pest management issues?.   (6 points) 4) Using either the seafood-watch-national-guide or seafood-watch-sushi-guide, select three (3) sea foods of any of the three (3) categories in any combination, and discuss why  (be as specific as possible) they are considered "Best Choices, Good  Alternatives, or Avoid".  If one of your food choices from above (#3) is  one of these seafoods, that may count as one of the three, but make  sure you have commented on why they are one of the three categories. (6  points)
