Use the Tissue RNA Expression section/tab to: a) Obtain a histogram of the tissue expression data for the gene. b) Obtain a histogram on the cell type expression data in an organ where the gene is highly expressed. 4. Use the Subcell section/tab to obtain immunofluorescence images on the distribution of the protein in a cultured cell line (HeLa, Hep-G2 or U2OS) using the enlarged image o a) Target protein only b) target protein+nucleus c) Target protein+nucleus+microtubules (more if you want to) d) Then describe where the protein is found within the cell 5. Use the Tissue section/tab to: a) Obtain an image of immunohistochemical staining for the protein in an organ tissue that it is highly expressed (positive control). b) Then describe where the protein is within the organ (cytoplasm, nucleus, or membrane) c) Obtain an image of immunohistochemical staining for the protein in an organ this it is not expressed in (negative control). d) Obtain an image for the distribution of the protein at the gross anatomical level in either a biological female or male if it is not differentially expressed and if it is differentially expressed, obtain an image of a male and a female. 6. Lastly, where are you going to go to find information on a protein from structure to gross anatomy?
