You will develop a detailed lesson plan associated with your approved curriculum topic and population. (My curriculum and topic attached )Write the lesson plan as though any presenter could pick it up and teach the content. Do not write personal opinions/views in a written curriculum.Content should be research-based and objective. Support your developed curriculum with the very minimum of 4 scholarly and credible sources. Keep in mind that the curriculum you are writing should be age and developmentally appropriate based on the identified audience from Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and curriculum introduction. For example, if your approved topic and population is bullying during early adolescence, the curriculum should be written for a relevant audience. Perhaps the audience is Middle School teachers or maybe you will choose to write to the audience of middle schoolers. The curriculum writing is for the one week of the 4-week series (equating to 1 lesson). Follow the outline, lesson objectives, and curriculum learning outcomes submitted in Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and curriculum introduction. Develop 1 lesson plan using the Sample Lesson Plan (Link on Overview page) as a guide. The sample lesson plan exemplifies a sequential psychoeducation learning process that will guide your identified learner population through activities, discussion, resources and facts about the approved topic and population. While you provided an outline for 4 weeks’ worth of lessons in Part 1 of the Capstone Project, you will only be writing one of these lesson plans for this assignment. You may choose to write a lesson for any of the four weekly sub-topics identified within Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and curriculum. Your lesson plan should include all of the following components: Curriculum Overview Include the introduction of the lesson topic, associated population, and corresponding Curriculum Learning Outcomes (CLO’s) and lesson objectives from Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and Curriculum Introduction. You can copy and paste the introduction written for Part 1 and make any desired edits. Include all of the following: Introduction of the curriculum for users/presenters written in Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and curriculum introduction.  Identified audience: age and developmentally appropriate identified in Part 1: Curriculum CLOs, Outline, and curriculum introduction.  Time specific Each lesson plan should represent 45- 60 minutes of taught content, contingent on the audience. Identify time allocation for each portion of the lesson. Necessary materials (i.e. poster board, DVD, worksheets, instruments, etc.)  List the materials necessary for a presenter to teach the full lesson content. Provide illustration of materials and actual materials. For example, if you are using worksheets, include a sample worksheet when you submit your project. If you are using a slide show, submit the slide show. If you are using instruments, explain fully how they are to be used as part of the lesson. (Hint: If you incorporate worksheets, assessment instruments, and the like, you can create an appendix section at the end of your lesson plan and include the items there). Description of the recommended instructional approach  For example, is the content lecture-based, activity-based, verbatim content included, told with puppets, a combination approach, lecture and discussion based, Power Point directed, etc. Brief Lesson overview (2-3 sentences)  Any specific requirements for the lesson with a detailed explanation (i.e. role play, audience to divide into groups of 3-4 for discussion, important information to reiterate) Content Include extensive, but audience-appropriate topic and population information that will be shared with the audience Include statistics related to the topic and population and cultural considerations. Include detailed information about at least one psychology tool, technique, or concept the audience can use to build skills related to the topic i.e. emotional intelligence techniques that the learner can practice and use in the future, personality tests, ABCDE model for disputing irrational or incorrect beliefs, etc. Include detailed information about at least one community resource that the audience can refer to during and after the lesson.  i.e. related non-profit organizations, online resources, hotlines, support groups, etc. Instructional Strategies Detail at least one interactive activity that allows for knowledge/skill building and/or practice of new knowledge and skills  Identify and include relevant, brief media (include link to media). Consider media that is relevant to the audience, population, and topic (i.e. video clips from children movies such as Inside Out may be relevant to teach about emotional intelligence topics for children; short TedTalks clips may be relevant for adults, or movie clips about how not to be or how to be based on the desired skill development) Include citation information within the curriculum and a reference section at the end of your curriculum document Review and follow the Sample Lesson Plan (attached below ) as a guide. Review additional curriculum examples to understand how you can approach the design of the curriculum. The following are additional examples, however, follow the SAMPLE LESSON PLAN to format your lesson plan. Submit your assignment by following the instructions below before the deadline. *Note: This activity will be checked for plagiarism and AI-generated content. Requirements 1 Completed Lesson Plans that include  Curriculum Overview Description of curriculum overview Description of the recommended instructional approach Description of Lesson overview Explanation of any specific requirements for the lesson Content Description of Topic and Population content Identification and explanation of Psychology tools/techniques related to the topic Identification of Community resources Instructional Strategies Description of interactive activity Identification of relevant, brief media (include link to media). Many theorists of personality are remembered for one or more of the concepts they developed. With Rotter, it is the concept of locus of control, and with Bandura, it is the concept of efficacy expectations. Each of these presents a different viewpoint of how human beings complete tasks and reach goals. This activity will help you in determining how your life is influenced by the work of these two theorists. Upon successful completion of this discussion, you will be able to: Discuss and evaluate the relationship of Rotter's concept of locus of control with Bandura's concept of efficacy expectations. Resources Textbook: Theories of Personality Web Article: Who do You Think Is in Control in Addiction? Bandura's efficacy theory refers to one's personal perception of his/her ability to complete tasks and reach goals. In this activity, you are asked to evaluate these two viewpoints, discussing how they support each other and how they may work against each other. Instructions Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade. Instructions for the Reflection Assignments: Reflections are really your though ...

Instructions for the Reflection Assignments: Reflections are really your thoughts while you are reading the material.  These reflections can be expansions on what you read, your feelings about the material, and/or if what you read relates to other things that you know or have seen before.  Reflections are written in bullet points and show processing of how the content of the readings relate to theory and practice. Four substantial bullet points for each chapter earns full points. Each bullet point should include both information from the chapter and a personal experience related to the concept you discuss. You can talk about your own personal experiences, experiences of friends or family members that have been shared with you, something you saw on a TV show, Netflix show, YouTube video, something you read in a story, or something you learned from another class in each bullet point. It’s a good idea to include a one or two extra substantial bullet points because we might disagree on what a substantial bullet point is. The number 1 mistake students make is not elaborating enough on their thought processes. Don’t be afraid to elaborate on each point.  The more detail, the better! As long as you have enough substantial bullet points, it’s okay to include lighter bullet points. The easiest way to create good reflection is to read the chapter slowly and for comprehension. The thoughts that come to you are your bullet points

Lesson 03 - Discussion Reggie comes to see Savannah, who has been a practicing therapist for 2 years. Reggie is in a long-term relationship and has had several affairs, which he blames mostly on his partner. His goal in therapy is to find some way to ameliorate his guilt. After a few sessions, Savannah suggests he consider couples therapy because much of the content of his sessions has had to do with his relationship with his partner. He refuses this referral. Reggie begins the following session sharing about his latest affair and his guilt. She then tells him that she cannot, in good conscience, continue to see him because his behavior bothers her, he continues to have affairs, and she sees no way to help him obtain his goal of alleviating his guilt and while continuing the behavior. Savannah tells him that he needs to find another therapist, offers him three referrals, and states this is their last session together due to his “lack of process.” What is the problem with this situation? What concerns, if any, do you have about this situation? Is Savannah acting ethically in asking him to see another therapist? Choose one Code of Ethics to apply to this situation (ACA, NASW, AAMFT). Summarize the specific section of the code you are applying to this case. What suggestions would you have for Savannah? This discussion forum will allow you to share your personal experience with conflict transgressions and forgiveness. Exposure to and understanding the empowerment forgiveness brings to one’s life is crucial.  Such knowledge via the use of forgiveness and reconciliation strategies helps one cope with moving forward and letting go of the past (Phil. 3:13). To participate effectively in the discussion, be sure to have read Chapter 9 of the textbook. Upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be able to: Distinguish relational transgressions from other types of problematic situations. Explain the advantages of forgiveness and restoration following transgressions. Describe the steps one must take to forgive. Resources Textbook: Managing Conflict through Communication Instructions Review the rubric to make sure you understand the criteria for earning your grade. Read Chapter 9 in your textbook. Managing conflict through forgiveness – Forgiveness is a power tool.  The authors of our text alert us to the truth that if we choose not to forgive the hurt, and perhaps, reconcile with the other person, we tend to repeat our mistakes which can become increasingly more destructive.  Forgiveness can act as a healer. Reflect on the tool. Describe a time when you were forgiven by someone else. Please describe the situation in as much detail as possible. What elements stand out as most important in this interaction? For instance: Why did they forgive you? Was the forgiveness requested or offered spontaneously. How was the forgiveness expressed? (What, if anything, did you do or say?) What occurred within the relationship after you were forgiven? Explain the advantages of forgiveness and reconciliation following such a relational transgression. Your paper should be 600-to-800 words in length; be well developed and clearly address the specifics of the assignment.  Be sure to follow all APA Guidelines within your paper, including cover page, in-text sources, grammar, and Reference Page. When you’ve completed your assignment save a copy for yourself and submit a copy to your instructor using the Assignment submission page by the end of the module..3.1 Discussion: Forgiveness, Kindness and Compassion. It has been said that the most powerful tool is forgiveness. One Bible scholar wrote that God forgives us, not because we forgive others, but solely because of His great mercy. As we come to understand His mercy, however, we will want to be like Him. Having received forgiveness, we will want to pass it on to others – a major component in conflict resolution.Upon successful completion of this discussion, you will be able to: Identify greater spiritual knowledge of how forgiveness and compassion interface with positivity in conflict communication options. Embrace the power that lies within forgiveness, seen as a willingness to become one with Christ. Resources Bible: New Living Translation Background Information We are admonished to embrace Christ-reflected attitudes and release all else in the fourth chapter of Ephesians. The Apostle Paul writes to the church at Ephesus, encouraging them to gain unity and maturity in the body of Christ. Specifically in 4:31-32, he clearly stresses:"Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you." Instructions Re-read Ephesians 4:31-32, as well as the following scriptures: Colossians 3:13-15 Proverbs 15:1 Ephesians 4:25-27 Navigate to the Discussion page and reflect on how these scriptures relate to your life.
