• Design a positive edge-triggered flip- flop, and verify its operation with simulations. Measure its current consumption, setup time, and hold time through simulation. ? Turn in: ? Flip flop schematic ? Test bench schematic ? ? Simulation wave form showing proper operation. This simulation should show D transitions during both CLK=1 and CLK=0 phases to show that the device is truly edge-triggered (i.e. that it does not have a transparent phase); and 1=>0 and 0=>1 output transitions on clock edges. ? Simulation results showing the relationship between tDC and tcQ and illustrating how you determined tsetup and tpcq ? Simulation results showing the relationship between tCD and tcQ and illustrating how you determined thold. ? A table showing current consumption IDD, setup time tsetup, hold time thold, and Clk-Q dolovt
3. An earth fill, when completed, will occupy a compacted volume of 187,000 cu yd. The borrow material which will be used to construct this fill is a stiff clay. In its bank condition, the borrow material has a weight of 114 lb/cu ft. The weight of this soil compacted is 129Ib/cu ft. Compute the required volume of the borrow material in BCY.
4) For the beam shown, find the reactions at the supports and plot the shear-force and bending-moment diagrams. Label the diagrams properly and provide values at all key points. (5 point for free body diagram, 5 points for calculating reaction forces and moments if any, 5 points for Shear body diagram, 5 points for bending moment diagram)
The given: Project Description Beach Town is a coastal city on the west coast of Florida which is experiencing unprecedented growth because of recent investments in the area by various Fortune 500 companies and influx of people to the region. Historically Beach Town had a uniform mix of industrial, commercial, and residential community, and attracted tourists from various parts of the world because of its white sand beach. Recent investments in industrial and commercial sectors as well as large number of people settling in this area have created an explosive population growth, and the demand for freshwater has sky rocketed. A simplified map of Beach Town is attached. While the sketch is not drawn to scale, the relative positions of the various features of the city are depicted accurately. A river flows through the city and eventually flows in to the Gulf of Mexico. The base flow of the river (during winter) is approximately 500 cubic feet per second (CFS). There is a thriving community along the beach that caters to the tourists. During summer, the city receives approximately 1000 tourists per day which creates additional water demand. It is expected that number of tourists will increase by 10% each year for the next 20 years. Industrial establishments are located on the river upstream of the city. The establishments are grand fathered to discharge treated effluent in the river. Stormwater runoff from the manufacturing facilities drains in the river without much treatment. The industries on the river are permitted to withdraw freshwater from the river. A combined municipal/industrial landfill is located on the northwest boundary of the city that receives wastes from the community as well as from the industries. A freshwater lake is located within 4 miles of the city boundary and is relatively pristine. The city is also surrounded by high quality wetlands along both north and south boundaries. The overall population of the city is characterized as progressive and has active involvement in local decisions.
1. (50 pts) Provide a description of the physiographic and geologic setting of your hometown.Your description should include: a) (10 pts) The city, county, and state as well as the Latitude and Longitude of the location that you considered. (15 pts) The physiographic section and district of your location and a brief description of this section/district. c) (15 pts) The geologic formation(s) that are present at your location and the published description of the formation(s). d) (10 pts) Supporting maps showing the physiography and geology of the area with your location marked on them.
You are in charge of managing a project with six activities. Based on the order of implementingthese activities you developed the following project network: (25 points) (a) Find the estimate of the mean and variance of the duration of each activity. (b) Find the critical path. (c) Find the approximate probability that the project will be complete within 57 days.
