Journal Reflection 100 Points Purpose: To reflect on course concepts from the first half of the semester and put them into your own writing. To research on a certain topic as it relates to intercultural communication. To consider how course topics are informing your approach to others. Formal Requirements: The course reflection should be double-spaced; it should be free of grammar, spelling, and writing errors. Any citation style is fine but they need to have some form of citations (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.). Research Requirements: You should identify at least 3-4 sources to use for this assignment. These can be sources from the course (textbook chapters, videos, articles, etc.) and/or pieces that you find in your own research on a topic that is related to the course. Procedures: For this assignment, select a topic from the course that you felt interesting and that you want to further engage with. Now, it's time to write a reflection essay on the topic. For this part, you should write a 2-3, double spaced paper on the topic. Although you are required to include citations for this piece, it does not necessarily have to be a 'traditional' academic paper. These pieces can be auto-ethnographic or narrative in nature. The important part is that you focus on what you learned, how it made you feel, and how you can potentially use what you have learned in the future in your own intercultural communication. TOPIC
