INITIAL POST: Respond to the following questions in your initial post (350+ words)  1) Describe what was most interesting or thought-provoking for you about the video and why.  2) Based on your reading of chapter 8, connect the experiences of the children and their families back to three relevant concepts discussed in chapter 8. Some concepts to consider: feminization of poverty, life chances, the underclass, social mobility (intragenerational or intergenerational), class consciousness or false consciousness, absolute poverty or relative poverty, dominant ideology, among others.  Define the concept from the chapter (cite your source, the e-textbook) Describe how each of the three concepts was demonstrated in or relevant to the lives of the families in the film.
