For your fifth case study assignment, let’s dive into the Population Health paper written by Hilts, et. al. and look at the purpose of partnerships that were identified. Table 2 of the paper identifies several different articles that were used in the literature review and the partnership between the community and hospital system for population health. For this case study, identify three articles highlighted in table 2. Two papers should be from the same focus area and one from a second focus area. Locate those papers within the library and read them. What parts of the partnerships do the articles have in common? Do the approaches have similar approaches? What differences do you see in the articles? Does this difference exist between focus area or another type of difference? What leadership skills are highlighted in these articles? What lessons do you learn in reading these articles? Your case study discussion should highlight the leadership skills learned in our review of these articles as well as practical skills that can be applied in your role as a future healthcare leader.
