For this assignment I have chosen to talk about the #Metoo movement by Tarana Burke. A primary source could be anyone you used the # or any article you’d like. Something we have discussed I am relating it to is Antoinette burtons “White womens struggles” You can also relate it to intersectionality. These are the instructions write a 5-6 page paper that curates your chosen subject in a formal essay. Find a primary source on your topic and write a paper that is a feminist history of the subject. There will be a detailed assignment sheet posted but part of the challenge of the assignment is to decide for yourself what a feminist history is or could be. What about the topic in question needs to be highlighted but might be erased or not easy to see using empirical evidence? What does an audience need to know about gender, sexuality, race, power, caste and so on?
