 During and after a crisis, educational institutions must have effective systems of communication with all stakeholders, including students, staff, families, and the community. These post-crisis communications should inform the staff and public as soon as possible of the extent of the loss or damage caused by the crisis and a short or long-term recovery plan to mitigate the damage or loss. One way this can be achieved effectively is by using social media.     Research a school or district near you. Find a social media post regarding a crisis. This may include environmental or weather-related crises, safety breaches, unforeseen circumstances, tragic loss, and/or damage of property or human capital.  Describe the crisis. Does the social media post effectively explain the extent of the loss or damage and provide a recovery plan? Why or why not?
