  Directions: Answer the following questions using complete sentences. It is expected that you include statements or quotations from the text in your responses. The purpose is to enhance the quality and creditability of the answer. The short essay must be at least 3 double-spaced typed pages.   Question:    The American and French of experienced a major transformation in the form of a drastic or violent Revolution, brought on by a desire to create a better society that reflected the will of the people. Using at least two of the documents, explain how freedom is achieved or maintained through the establishment of the American Declaration of Independence and/or the French Declaration of Rights of Man and/or The Napoleonic Code.
