Desi Hangover (DH), manufacturer of handcrafted up cycled leather footwear, went form being a start-up trying to promote conscious fashion to becoming one of the six finalists at Lakme Fashion Week 2020 in the category of Circular Changemakers.  Having built a selective presence in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and the US, Hitesh Kenjale, co-founder and CEO, had an ambitious dream of establishing DH as a leading circular economy fashion brand in footwear and accessories segments.  However, amid declining revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty about the business environment in coming time, the DH team had contrasting views on taking the circularity plunge.
