Description This literature-review (research) paper is about the Economics of a National Environmental and/or Resource use issue.  An emphasis here is on the 'Economics' and 'National' of the issue (it does not have to be just the U.S.A.). It is about two-and-a-half/three pages single or double spaced (each individual has a different writing style (less than 1,000 words). You will now when your paper is complete). Your paper needs to adhere all conventional prerequisites of a literature-review  paper.  Make sure your papers is in .doc or .docx form. If you wish you can bounce your paper topic by me via email with a short synopsis (including your topic, your preliminary references and a plan of your approach. For more information please see syllabus. Here are some pointers as a feedback from the first paper. 1. Include a precise (a sentence or two) about not only the topic but also your paper's format as well as a summary and conclusion. 2. Make sure to reedit several times to eliminate grammatical and spelling errors (do not just rely on automatic spell checking); to reduce unnecessary repetition; to avoid convoluted run-on sentences; and to provide proper documentation. 3. Keep in mind that this is a (scholarly) research paper.  It is okay to use media (magazines, newspapers and websites) as long as your findings in them are supported by and in support of your academic research findings (academic research is done to find scholarly article likely through library sources). 4. Most environmental issues  have local, national and international (global) dimensions.  Make sure to cover only the national (largely economic) aspects (your application of the class material is a the endeavor).
