Description Create the PowerPoint based on the class content I provided. Additionally, include speaker notes for each slide. For the role-play section mentioned in the outline, help us craft a dialogue related to our topic. The role-play involves two characters only. The total presentation duration should be around 30 minutes.the topic of our group: Technology in play therapy and tele-play therapy: i.e. the use of play techniques via telehealth platforms, online games, and video games during session. requirement: The purpose of the group presentations is to give students an opportunity to delve into an area of play therapy that aligns with their interests and intended scope of practice. Additionally, by hearing the other presentations and participating in the experiential exercises, students will gain familiarity with a range of different types of play therapy models and interventions. During the first in-person weekend, students will sign up for a topic from a list of different areas of interest within play therapy. (Students are also able to propose a different topic if they wish.) Groups of approximately 3 students each will prepare a 45-minute presentation on that topic, which will be presented in class during our second in-person weekend. Please see the Canvas rubric for more details regarding grading. Group presentations should include the following information specific to the area of focus or modality: Information regarding the target population The role of the clinician The theory of change or goals Core components: Theoretical main ideas or core concepts Interventions: Where do services take place? What does a session look like? Are any specific materials needed? Education or training required: How would a clinician learn how to practice this? Ethical issues specific to the modality Evaluation data: Has the modality been studied for efficacy? How have outcomes been measured? Is evidence strong? Provide at least 3 peer reviewed articles related to the modality, its efficacy, or how it is used An experiential exercise: This is the most important aspect of the presentation. Can take up to half of the total presentation time (i.e. up to ~25 minutes). Can be any of the following Guest speaker, such as hearing from or interviewing a clinician who practices this type of play therapy (can be via Zoom, but please let the instructor know ahead of time) Therapeutic interventions that the class can engage in together Role play completed by the group Video recording of a session (or of a role play) Other ideas welcome Reserve 5 minutes for questions and group discussion A note about group work: Given the weekend intensive structure of the course, it is expected that your group will need to work on the presentation outside of our class time. As the instructor, I am operating under the assumption that everyone is participating and contributing actively and equitably and thus, everyone in the group will receive the same grade. If you have any concerns regarding this during the presentation preparation process, please get in contact with me, ideally before the presentation when there may still be time to address it. Scoring Criteria: 1. - Presentation was clearly organized - Presentation included all required content and conveyed it with accuracy - Time used effectively 2. - Experiential exercise supported students' understanding of the modality either through directly practicing modality interventions or seeing/hearing examples of their use 3. - Presentation demonstrated a thorough understanding of key concepts of the modality - Presentation thoughtfully addressed ethical issues related to the modality - Presentation examined the research-based evidence for the modality - Students presented both strengths and critiques of the modality
