Description An outline helps you think ahead about what you want to say and in what order you want to say it. A logical order will help you remember what you want to say. It also helps me evaluate your (1) informative organization, (2) appropriate outline format, and (3) coverage of relevant content. The outline should use brief phrases to make your points clearly but concisely. It must be grammatically correct but should not be a verbatim script of your speech; include only the detail necessary for clarity. The outline must also include APA-formatted in-text citations for all borrowed information as well as a full reference list.
