Community Participation Project This essay project will consist of four parts: List the common challenges to recovery faced by a selected public mental health clientele and their families. Select one of the challenges this chosen clientele and/or their families face. Offer information about why this challenge is particularly interesting to you. Review current programs, policy advocacy, and/or efforts you researched that attempt at addressing the issues you identified. Offer solutions/programs/advocacy efforts/community-based interventions, etc. based on Urie Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Model. Solutions may include intersections of different ecological levels or certain interventions at different levels of the model. Use your innovation to think of programs/interventions that would help address this challenge. This paper must be 6-8 pages, excluding title and reference pages, and utilize APA style. The assignment will be graded as follows: Selection of public mental health clientele and identified challenges (10 points) Selected challenge and current programs/policies/advocacy efforts clearly articulated (10 points) Solutions offered follow Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Model--Levels clearly identified and solutions match the level.
