Capstone Work-in-Progress Presentation Points:                                  100 points Presentation Length:        Work-in-progress presentations provide writers with an opportunity for immediate, in-process feedback on their work. Creating and delivering the presentation will force you to articulate your thesis statement, identify your main arguments and how the project pertains to your two cognates (or two disciplinary perspectives), choose evidence to include (quotes, charts/graphs, maps, etc.), identify areas that need additional research or development, and consider your audience. Think of it as an expanded, visual outline of your project. The presentation can be in any multimedia presentation software that you choose. You may want to use the same software you did for the collaborative presentation early in the semester or you may want to go with something else. If you choose software you haven't used before, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to learn it.
