Begin your CODEL project by researching your country and preparing the country overview. the country is england This overview should be succinct and cover the following: Introduce your country to the members of the CODEL. This should be brief (1 to 2 paragraphs) and provide some historical and cultural information about your country, not simply "the facts". Is your country a constitutional monarchy? Was it historically significant geopolitically? What is the ethnic breakdown of its people? Does it have a reputation (good or bad) for something? This should be a narrative that tells a story. Continue your country overview with relevant, specific and/or unique country data and statistics (i.e. population, land mass, GDP, form of government, major industries and import/export, treaties/trade status with U.S., relevance in the region, etc.) HINT: THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO USE A TABLE OR CHART! INCLUDE any CURRENT EVENTS or POLITICAL DEVELOPMENTS that you think Members of Congress would want to know about your country!!! Introduce members of the CODEL to the current government and its elected leadership. HINT: Provide background information on your country's leaders; not simply their names!! Cite your sources!
