Assignment Overview This project will compare and analyze biological/biosocial and classical theories of crime. The Classical Theory and Positivist Theory were two schools of thought which were developed over time. These two theories vary and you will have several options to discuss the distinctions and determine the validity of these theories. Question: Write an argumentative essay responding to whether forced sterilization is ever justifiable. Details: 2-3 pages in length, double spaced, times new roman (APA format) paper NOT including your cover page and reference page on involuntary sterilization Use of 4 scholarly sources and answer the following questions: Sterilization was the "surgical solution" to what perceived problem(s)? Who was targeted for forced sterilization in particular situations and why? Consider the roles of social categories such as disability, race, class, gender, or sexuality. Which professions were involved with implementing sterilization policies, and what interests did they think would be served?
