An advocacy map aids in understanding the resources and supports necessary to respond to gaps and service needs for vulnerable populations. Consider what type of advocacy (policy, agency, legislative, or community) would be most beneficial for the vulnerable population you selected to focus on in this course. Using that type of advocacy, you have been tasked with creating an advocacy plan for your identified vulnerable population in Topic 1. While completing the Advocacy Map Worksheet, you will describe your advocacy agenda for this population indicating resources, tasks, short-term outcomes, medium-term outcomes, long-term outcomes, and outcomes for society.
